Today we bring you another installment in our series of fundraising Best Practices in Action. This week’s Best Practice is. . .
Give your supporters resources to help them communicate about their fundraising.
It’s Polar Plunge season, and our friends at Special Olympics Florida are getting ready to take the plunge. Matthew Levy, VP of Resource Development at the nonprofit, created this eye-catching piece for his email signature:
Matthew is setting a terrific example for plunge participants by encouraging them to be creative in their communications about the event. The folks at Special Olympics also created a more generic image for supporters to place in their emails and other communications:
With the plunge event a month away, supporters have already raised over $5,000 online.
So, to recap: Give your supporters the tools to be successful for your cause.
Happy fundraising!
