Today we bring you another installment in our series of fundraising Best Practices in Action. This week’s Best Practice is. . .
Start talking about online fundraising early.
Our friends at the Autism Society of Minnesota are planning ahead for their annual “Steps of Hope” walk. Although the event won’t take place until the end of February, they’ve already added all the details about the event and how to raise money online to their website:
As a result, supporters like Jean Tate have already started fundraising, with plenty of time to share their stories as the event date approaches.
So, to recap: Give your supporters the tools to be successful for your cause. Add your event to your Firstgiving page early so they can start fundraising.
Happy fundraising!
