Here at FirstGiving, we see people raising money online for causes they care about every day, including environmental causes like climate change. Since today is Blog Action Day, we wanted to join in the conversation on climate change in honor of the many people working together for this important cause.
Today we’d like to recognize a partnership between a nonprofit organization and a supporter that we found especially enlightening when it comes to changing the effects of climate change:
John is advocating for the work being done by the Solar Electric Light Fund (SELF). SELF is an international organization that works for sustainable energy solutions for the people who are impacted the most by climate change: the poor.
