Each month we highlight a couple of our nonprofit partners who have unique fundraising events, great success stories, or something else fantastic going on that we’d like to tell you about. Next up in our nonprofit fundraising series, the nonprofit spotlight, is The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota and their Stroll for Epilepsy walks.
In 2009, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota put out a hefty goal of rasing over $270,000 for their Stroll for Epilepsy. I am happy to say that they have exceeded thier goals and raised a total of $XXXX. The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota has five walks through out the month of August, which they nickname “strolls.” The walking might be at a strol pace but the fundraising is centrially not. The biggest secuess of thier stroll is the twin city walk, which raised over X% of the total amount raised.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota is working together to connect, educate and empower people who are effected by siesures. They strive to make sure that people that do suffer from sieasures in no way sufffer in everyday life. They offer programs for children, young adults and adults that supply anyone affected by epilepsy the change to get together share, learn and grow from each other. They also know how to have a good time, with parties, festivals, workshops, and fairs.
