This just in. . . Third Sector New England’s Nonprofit Capacity Building Training Series provides ongoing learning opportunities specifically designed by and for those within the nonprofit sector. The series includes nine (9) workshops to help nonprofit managers, staff and board members strengthen general management skills from fundraising to financial management to effective supervision.
Workshop trainers are leaders in their field and in the nonprofit sector, and include international fundraising expert Simone P. Joyaux, ACFRE, and communications specialist Rick Schwartz.
The workshops will be held monthly from September 2009 through May 2010 at the TSNE NonProfit Center, just one block from South Station, Boston’s public transportation hub.
Participants can enroll in one workshop or in multiple workshops. Each session is designed to strengthen participants’ management skills while providing field-tested tools and concepts to take back to the office for implementation.
