A new Common Impact survey says engaging corporate employees would generate $1.1 billion in new nonprofit resources.
Intrigued? While our primary focus here at FirstGiving is helping nonprofits raise money online, we know you’re busy pursuing all kinds of other opportunities to make the most of your community resources. That’s why we thought this opportunity from Common Impact might be of interest to many of our nonprofit partners. In their words:
Common Impact is a nonprofit organization that connects skilled volunteers from leading companies with high-potential nonprofits to deliver discrete projects that amplify nonprofit impact and strengthen communities. They are looking for a few new clients to participate in a technology, marketing, human resources, or financial management project this fall/winter and they also have a couple of spots open for marketing planning this summer and fall.
Examples of past projects include the development of: databases, websites, organizational brochures, performance evaluation processes, personnel policies, or financial models to assess the cost of new or existing programs. For a full list of our project types, please read the Project Execution document in your area(s) of interest at: http://www.commonimpact.org/nonprofits/practice-areas/
If your organization is interested in working with Common Impact or if you have any questions, please contact Karen Horwitz at khorwitz@commonimpact.org. She can provide you with more information about Common Impact’s selection process and criteria and the fees associated with this work.
