Slides from this week’s webinar, Running for a Reason, are now live at the Team Firstgiving Blog, where you can download them if you want to keep them forever.

Audio will follow shortly.  We’ll also be emailing out answers to the questions, and we’ll post the top questions and answers to the blog.  If you have any other questions you didn’t have time to ask, just post them in the comments section, and we’ll get right back to you.

  1. When you create a web page on Firstgiving is it only that one page or can it include links to the other runners pages? Also I cant remember what the amount of the service fee is, can you please provide that information? Thank you.

    Your personal fundraising page can be linked to other fundraising pages if you are part of a team. Here’s an example: http://www.firstgiving.com/process/teamarea/default.asp?did=1589&teamid=60389

    If you’ve already created a page and want to join a team, email us at support@firstgiving.com and we’ll take care of it for you. If you haven’t created your page yet, you’ll have the option to join a team during the registration process.

    Firstgiving’s service fee is 5% of the total donations to your page. We also subtract a 2.5% credit card processing fee. For more info. on what this fee covers, see our website: http://www.firstgiving.com/statements/about_us/howitworks.asp.
