If you’re lucky enough to be in New Orleans tonight, you might catch part of the kickoff event for the Patron Tequila Express Music in Motion Tour. It’s just the first of several stops on a music tour that will also help rebuild New Orleans through Firstgiving’s social fundraising platform. And New Orleans is a city that’s given the world of music – and the whole world – so much.

Patron Tequila has partnered with Firstgiving to provide the fundraising pages and online donation processing for this event. There are two featured charities, the Preservation Hall Music Education Program and the St. Bernard Project, but you can join the Patron team and raise money for any charity you choose.

Even better, the fundraisers who raise the most money for their charities will be eligible for some very cool prizes, including trips on the Patron Tequila Express and tickets to the concerts along the way.
