No so long ago, we blogged about using tags to get more exposure for your fundraising page. Today, we’re announcing a promotion for people who tag their fundraising pages: On July 14, we will select at random from all fundraising pages tagged “winjuly” and make a $500 donation to that page, provided there are at least three other useful tags on the page. That’s right, you could get a $500 donation to your cause just by adding some tags and getting lucky on July 14.
If you don’t yet have a Firstgiving personal fundraising page, here’s how to get started.
If you have a page and need help adding tags to it, just follow these easy steps:
1. Log in to your personal account
2. Choose your fundraising page and click “add tags”
3. Enter tags one at a time. Don’t forget “winjuly” and at least three more.
4. You’re done! Your tags will appear towards the bottom of your fundraising page. Click on any of them to see more pages with that tag.
If you’re really curious, you can see who else has tagged their page with “winjuly” to enter this promotion.
