Second Graders Hold “Make a Difference Day”

When I was in second grade, most of my time was consumed with street hockey, swim practice, and reading Joanna Campbell’s "Thoroughbred" books (whoops, I just inadvertantly started an office conversation about Nancy Drew and The Bobsbey Twins…).  Jonah Temple and his second grade class have taken a different route.

To celebrate his class’ "Make a Difference Day," Jonah has set up an online fundraising page for Lollypop Farm and Humane Society Of Rochester And Monroe County P.C.A.  Jonah and his mom have their own dog and cat pair from the Lopllypop Farm and Jonah wants to make a difference in the lives of even more animals.  His goal is to raise $500 and as I write this post, he’s already almost half way there–we wish Jonah and his class the best of luck!
