I’m sure most of you have heard about the tragic disappearance and murder of hiker Meredith Emerson.  Here at Firstgiving, we believe that one of the best ways to remember those who have passed is to raise money in their name for their favorite cause.  Meredith had a love for animals, adopting her own beautiful Ella from a rescue organization.  Now, more animals will be rescued and cured in Meredith’s honor.

Whether Meredith was a close friend, or just someone whose story touched your heart, we are grateful to be playing a small role in celebrating her life by collecting donations for Longmont Humane Society.
