Fundraiser of the Week

We will be featuring a "Fundraiser of the Week" right here, every week, on this blog.   This is our way of presenting to the world the awesomeness of Firstgiving fundraisers and sharing the good news of everyone’s hard work and accomplishments!  The criteria for "The Fundraiser of the Week" or FOTW is purely editorial.  Our FOTW is typically selected because someone alerted us to an amazing page or we randomly came across their pure awesomeness on the web.  We think everyone who uses our site is totally great and we just want to share some of the amazing stories that we find!  Also, if you know someone that has a great story or if you’ve seen a page that you think is extremely awesome, let us know! You can send all that information to me, Brittany, your ambassador of awesomely good things.

  1. Brittany,
I am 54, a veteran fundraiser, and this is my first time to use anything besides a telephone and a smile to fundraise.
Thank you so much for making my volunteer job so much more fun and easy!
    My 5 year old grandaughter,
Alison, is my inspiration for the Kidney Foundation fundraiser.
Alison was born 2 months premature and has suffered from severe kidney difficulties. At her young age she has already bravely gone under the knife 3 times to repair her kidneys. None the less, she is a happy and smart cookie and her grandmother and I love her to death.
Do you know the best way we can use your fine services to raise $5000 for Alison and other children with kidney disease?
    Thank you so much!
